Monaco Yacht Show 2026
You have the number, now understand what it means
You’ve received an estimated YETI Lite score for your yacht at Monaco Yacht Show 2026.
Here’s what sits behind the score and what it can tell you about your yacht’s environmental performance.
NOTE: the score is the % of impact or % of improvement W.R.T. REFERENCE LINE.
This is not your score, this is an example image from our platform.
What does a YETI score mean?
The YETI score brings together 18 environmental impact categories into one number: EcoPoints/1,000.
Lower score = lower estimated environmental impact
The baseline is the reference line – middle line on chart and score is % impact or % of improvement with respect to the reference line. So assessed impact or improvement is within the same size cluster.
It provides a consistent reference point for comparing the environmental performance of different yachts.
YETI uses lifecycle assessment principles and the ReCiPe 2016 methodology.
A score isn't a verdict
It is a starting point
YETI is not designed to judge a yacht, its owner or its crew. It is a decision-support tool that helps the industry understand environmental performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
The assessment focuses on the yacht itself, including its design, propulsion and hotel systems rather than individual owner or crew behaviour.
The score you’ve received is a YETI Lite estimate, calculated using basic yacht parameters. A full YETI assessment goes further, using detailed yacht-specific information to provide a more comprehensive picture of environmental performance.
Go beyond the YETI Lite estimate
YETI Pro goes beyond the Lite estimate, using detailed yacht-specific information to provide a more complete picture of environmental performance.
It considers areas including:
By looking at both direct and indirect environmental impacts, YETI Pro can help identify where improvements could have the greatest impact, supporting new-build decisions, upgrades and refit planning.
